Apple iPhone 3G S which was promised to be delivered by June 19 will now be delivered by June 21. Customers who ordered online were expecting the shipment by June 19 now their UPS tracking shows the delivery date delayed by 2 days.

Palm Pre runs on a ARM Cortex Processor at 600 MHz which is higher than the current iPhone 3G which runs on 400 MHz ARM 11 Processor,  Palm Pre is the only smartphone that can be called “iPhone Killerâ€.
So who wins, definitely with AT&T’s popularity and lots of applications in apple store and moreover after addressing those issues that were very annoying in 3G, Apple seems to have a clear upper hand. Still it would be interesting to see how Palm persues the competition and promotes its front runner, closely called “iPhone killerâ€.
Rumors and Guessing game is over now. Apple last night at WWDC announced iPhone 3G S. Whats new in iPhone 3G S, lets take a closer look.
In terms of shape and size there is no change at all, it weighs the same as iPhone 3G. The letter “S” stands for Speed which is the key for this new model to be sold. Apple claims it is gonna be at least 2X faster in data transfer. The new iPhone 3G S comes with a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera with auto focus which means if you are closer than 10cm to the object it automatically switches to micro mode. Besides a higher resolution camera, it comes with video recording capabilities, MMS ready from day 1 with AT&T, Voice Control, Higher accessibility for visual and hearing impaired. The new iPhone 3G S comes in two different models 16 GB and 32 GB and are available from June 19th 2009.

So I’m sitting in my living room, relaxing and watching Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, one of my favorite comedians from Sat. Night Live, and he now has his own late night show taking the place for Conan O’Briens’ show, who took Jay Lenos’ spot on the Tonight Show.  Anyways, he did a skit on the release of the new iPhone 3G S and it was hilarious.  It’s also because I’m a huge fan of Jimmy Fallon, but it also had a lot to do with the subject matter which was the iPhone 3G S.  If I can ever find the video, I will definitely post it here so anyone can see it.  I think its awesome that we are so up to speed on the release of the new iPhone 3G S and we plan on being able to repair it very soon after its release.
Here is my favorite line from the iPhone 3G s skit; “Does anyone have an app that can get me some laughs in here? A laugh app?”  And the best line!!! ; “Hey how do you keep an iPhone from cracking?
