Last weekend, Best Buy finally lived up to its reputation. They offered the Best Buy on the Palm Pre, literally.

Palm Pre Repair Service offered by Dr. Cell Phone
A glitch on the vendor system led to confusion on the price of the Palm Pre. The Pre was being offered for $99 with a 2 year contract. In reality, the Pre is $199 with a 2 year contract. Really wish I had Sprint last weekend…
And in technology news, a Microsoft-Yahoo (or YahooSoft) partnership finally emerged over the weekend.

Though this partnership is a couple years too late, it will be interesting to see what Microsoft has up their sleeves to undercut Google. Right now, Google is way ahead of competition for search-engine superiority. With the public release of the new myTouch 3G right around the corner (official release date is August 5th, 2009), Google is only adding to its arsenal.
Choosing between the Palm Pre, the myTouch 3G, and the iPhone 3G is like asking me to choose between Jessica Alba, Rachel McAdams, and Megan Fox.
Remember that Dr. Cell Phone offers cell phone repair for both the Palm Pre and the new myTouch 3G from Google!
Dr. Cell Phone would repair Megan Fox's phone for free.

Dr. Cell Phone’s Sony Ericsson Repair Service Center now announces exclusive repairs for the Sony Ericsson W580/W580i. The W580 (or W580i), more commonly referred to as the Walkman, is a music player at its core. But it also has Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera, and a memoy card slot. In terms of aesthetics, the W580/W580i is a sleek and thin slider phone that comes in black, white, pink, and grey.
Because the Sony Ericsson W580 Walkman is a sliding phone, the flex cable is a prominent feature. A common repair on the Walkman is the flex cable.

- Sony Ericsson
“We found that the number one repair with the Sony Ericsson W580 is the flex cable. This is mainly because it’s a sliding phone. The constant sliding adds to the wear and tear of the phone and affects the flex cable,†said Rob Noorani, the general manager at Dr. Cell Phone.
Dr. Cell Phone’s industry leading repair service center also repairs cracked screens, bleeding LCD, and housing replacement.

According to wirelessandmobilenews.com, the Storm has improved dramatically in terms of speed and performance because of the 4.7 version update. An issue that may arise with the Blackberry Storm is a cracked screen. This is not because RIM made a phone that breaks. It’s because of the touch screen.
