While some of you have undoubtedly been wearing out your mouse or trackpad buttons clicking "Check for Update" in iTunes all morning, we know that most of you have probably patiently been waiting for the AT&T MMS update for your iPhone. Wait no more, as the carrier update appears to have arrived a few hours earlier than planned: just pop into iTunes with your iPhone plugged in, check for updates if it doesn't automatically notify you, and you're on your way to MMS bliss.
AT&T had warned us earlier this week that the MMS rollout would require a carrier profile (IPCC) update before it would work for everyone. Though some lucky users managed to enable this feature early, most of us were stuck waiting until today.
We don't really have much else to say about it at this point, so go ahead and download it, reboot, and if you're in the mood, let us know what the first picture (or video) you received was. (Finally, iPhone users in the US can start sexting one another again with pics to back it up. Seriously though, The iPhone displays the images you have received even if your phone is locked, so be careful about those inappropriate photos if there are kids or other sensitive people around!)
